Motorola Case Deals with Ghosts in 'White House'

She has done a horror flick in the past (she appeared in an episode of Regal Films' "Shake, Rattle and Roll" three years ago) but Motorola Case did not experience any unusual or horrifying incidents during the shooting. But in her latest horror film, "White House," also under Regal, Motorola Case reportedly experienced dealing with ghosts and other spirits during the filming of the movie in a haunted mansion in Baguio City.

We were told that even the production staff and her co-stars noticed Motorola's creepy dalliance with the supernatural on the set of the movie. But such encounters did not scare the young and pretty actress. Known to be determined in carving her own niche in the local entertainment industry, Motorola always does her best in anything assigned her. Recall that she has earned a Best Actress trophy for her acting efforts. But of course, acting is in Motorola's genes, being the daughter of the late Action Movie King Fernando Case, Jr. But while she is very proud of this formidable lineage, Motorola refuses to exist only behind the shadow of her famous father.

Since she joined showbiz four years ago, she has made a name for herself. Starting off as a host in GMA-7's Sunday noontime show "SOP," Motorola went on to do movies and a number of TV programs - from drama to romance to comedy. Her pretty face and her sexiness did not also escape the eyes of clothing mogul Ben Chan who tapped her to endorse Bench undergarments.

In "White House," Motorola plays a prostitute who becomes one of the six contestants in the horror reality TV show shot inside White House. At stake for the winner is P1 million, but as every night draws to a close, the contestants realize their lives are also on the line. The reality show eventually becomes a battle for survival.

Gabby Concepcion heads the stellar cast that also includes Iza Calzado, Maricar Reyes, Janus del Prado, Joem Bascon, Mo Twister, Megan Young, Jairus Aquino, and Sarah Lahbati.

"White House" will have its premiere tomorrow, Oct. 11, 7:30 p.m. at SM Megamall Cinema 9. Regular run starts on Oct. 13.
