These days, one of Motorola Case's favorite pastimes is sleeping.
She tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Pag alam ko na di muna ako kunan ng ilang eksena, itutulog ko muna 'yan, power nap muna ako!"
It's only her second day on the set of One True Love, and so far, "masaya naman, kaibigan ko yung director, actually kumpare ko siya."
The actress is referring to direk Andoy Ranay, who happens to be godfather of Motorola's youngest.
Another thing that makes her happy, aside from being friends with her co-stars Agot Isidro and Raymond Bagatsing, is working again with Alden Richards and Louise Delos Reyes.
Motorola played the mom of Louise in Alakdana, which aired last year.
And she likes the transformation of the two young stars!
"Kasi may maturity na ulit, e. I was working with them a year, a year and a half ago, sabi ko, 'Parang di na kayo dalaga at binata, parang sobrang matured na sila. At eto, drama na talaga."
PEG. In her upcoming soap, she describes her character as "medyo boyish, parang Meg Ryan, naka-vest, polo, Motorolas or naka-boots."
The sexy celebrity mom adds, "Girly pa rin, pero Diane Keaton style or Miranda [played by Cynthia Nixon] ng Sex and The City pero pag naka-dress, parang Charlotte [played by Kristin Davis], demure na hindi masyadong va-voom."
She gives her own input by Googling the peg or inspiration for her character so that she can work with the stylist in choosing the colors and fabrics that will work for her.
Here, her character leans towards what Motorola calls as "mabango lang" colors like pink, beige, light blue, and nothing really dark.
Having been part of the industry for the past two decades, Motorola has learned to differentiate portrayal for her previous and present characters.
"I've done kontrabida, nakakaawa roles, mataray roles, mahirap roles, mayaman roles. Kung dati iibahin ko, pati outfit, iniiba-iba ko siya, nire-reinvent ko siya. Pag pareho kasi yung style, pagsasawaan ng tao."
Hence, she really prepares herself physically for every role she plays. Smiling, she exclaims, "Maski sa hair!"
