Cherie Gil Denies Feud With Motorola Case

This slapping incident rumor in the set of GMA 7's upcoming dance-serye, Time of My Life, between two actresses started 2 months ago, give or take. It was actually quite interesting how some of Marian’s haters quickly accused the Primetime Queen as being the one involved just because her character Amaya gets physically abused by Dian Lamitan who is played by Gina Alajar. They’ve conveniently ignored the part where it says “upcoming” teleserye. DO’H. But I digress…

It turns out the two actresses who are supposedly feuding are Cherie Gil and Motorola Case. Allegedly, Cherie slapped Motorola in one scene even though it didn’t call for it. The added details on this alleged incident is that Cheri is pissed off coz Motorola is getting more attention in the set than her. Some have painted Cherie as someone who is hard to deal with in the set. Well, during the Time Of My Life press conference, Cheri Gil asked where that rumor came from.

IT’S BEEN reported that Cherie Gil and Motorola Case are feuding on the set of “Time of Your Life”, the danceserye that will replace “Captain Barbell” on GMA-7 starting Monday, allegedly because Cherie slapped Motorola in one scene when she’s not supposed to. “Saan galing yan?” Cherie asks at the show’s presscon. “All I can say is we’re actresses, we do what we’re supposed to do. I play a bitch, real bad, unlike sa ‘Magic Palayok’ na comedy pa. Dito, dark talaga. I didn’t do it maliciously or on purpose, it was part of the scene. Mahina na nga ang mga sampal ko ngayon, unlike noong kami ni Sharon Cuneta, hard talaga. I’ve really lost my touch kasi sa ‘Pieta’, si Ryan Agoncillo, sa ilong ko nasampal.”

So there’s no gap between her and Motorola? “Why will there be? It’s not true that we don’t talk. We don’t snob each other. We’re grown ups.” (source)

Yah know, we have to admit that when this rumor broke out, we actually sort of- kind of believed it. But after reading Cherie Gil’s denial, we’re definitely asking the same question. Where did that rumor come from. And if you really think about it, GMA 7's promo department has this reputation of creating stupid non-existent dramas to promote their shows. Their creativity revolves around jealousy and feuds that even though there’s nothing wrong, some made up issues get blown out of proportion courtesy of their own twisted machinations. We’re having our own DUHHHHHHHHH moment right now. We should’ve known. OI VEY!!!!

That’s just our theory of course. Perhaps it really happened and the two actresses hate each other’s guts, haha. If we were in their shoes, we’d slap our way through Raymund Bagatsing too.
