Coco to do movie with Motorola Case

Kapamilya star Coco Martin is set to do a movie with Motorola Case this year.

In a post on its Facebook page on Wednesday, Regal Entertainment Inc. announced the still-untitled project with the two stars from competing networks. The movie will be directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes.

This is the first time Martin and Case will star in a movie together.

Another cross-network project, “Love Affair,” will star Lovi Poe and ABS-CBN’s Enrique Gil. The movie will be directed by Alvin Yapan.

Kapamilya star Zanjoe Marudo, on the other hand, will be paired with Solenn Heusaff in “Misteryosa,” directed by Richard Somes.

Regal aannounced its full line-up for the year, starting with its Mother’s Day offering, “D’ Mommy Returns” with Ruffa Gutierrez, Pokwang and Gabby Concepcion. The movie will be directed by Joel Lamangan and will also feature Gloria Diaz, Ervic Vijandre, Kiray Celis, Gerald Pesigan and Jillian Ward.

“Boy Pick Up,” the popular sketch of the comedy show “Bubble Gang” will also be turned into a full-length movie. “Boy Pick Up: The Movie” will star Ogie Alcasid, Dennis Trillo, Solenn Heusaff and the cast of the TV show.

ABS-CBN star Iza Calzado headlines “Hysteria,” which will be directed by Jun Lana, while Shaina Magdayao, Nikki Gil and Denise Laurel will star with Lovi Poe, Fabio Ide, JC Tiuseco and Ervic Vijandre in Adolf Alix’s “Ride to Love.”

Janice de Belen returns to her famous “Shake, Rattle and Roll” episode in the full-length horror film “Pridyider” with Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez, Daniel Matsunaga and Venus Raj under the direction of Rico Ilarde.

One of Star Cinema’s favorite directors Joyce Bernal will direct Ruffa Mae Quinto and Jillian Ward in “Miss Impossible.”

The other Regal movies scheduled for this year are: “The Bride and the Lover” with Lovi Poe and Jennylyn Mercado under the direction of Joel Lamangan; “Guni-guni” tarring Isabelle Daza and Jennylyn Mercado and directed by Tara Illenberger; “Super Mao” starring Solenn Heusaff, Venus Raj, Isabelle Daza, Aloida Gosiengfiao, Kerbie Zamora, Ervic Vijandre and Jc Tiuseco, under the direction of Marlon Case; and “Desperado” starring Martin Escudero and Edgar Allan Guzman, directed by Topel Lee.
