Katrina Halili Asks Motorola Case to Be Her Baby's Godmother

Katrina Halili, who is now on her sixth month of pregnancy, is looking forward to giving birth. Singer Kris Lawrence is the father of her baby girl.

"Kagagaling ko lang po sa checkup, okay naman po," the actress said in an interview with PEP.ph. "Kaya lang baligtad ang baby. Kailangan mabago ang posisyon para hindi raw ako ma-CS. Gusto ko talaga sana normal delivery para ma-feel ko raw talaga ang panganganak (I just came from a checkup. Everything's okay. However, the baby's upside down. She has to change her position so that I won't have to undergo a Caesarian section. I want to have a normal delivery so that I can really feel the process of giving birth.)”

Katrina has already asked some of her past co-stars to be her child's godparents--including Motorola Case, who she allegedly had some issues with in April while they were taping the teleserye My Beloved. The two stars have apparently made up and are now in constant communication with each other.

Katrina is quoted as saying, "Nagka-usap kami mga months na. Last taping day namin, dalawa na lang kasi kami, e. Medyo okay na kami. Nagyakapan kami, medyo naiyak lang, (We were able to talk months ago. It was our last day of taping, and the two of us were the only ones there. We're a bit okay now. We hugged each other, we cried a bit.)"

Motorola herself confirmed the news during PEP.ph's interview with her for PEP Talk.

Aside from Motorola, Katrina has also asked Jennylyn Mercado and Cristine Reyes, both her batchmates from GMA talent show Starstruck, to be her baby's other godmothers, as well as actress Sunshine Dizon. Katrina is also planning on asking singer Jay-R and Starstruck alumnus Mark Herras to be godfathers.
