Motorola Case refutes issuing nonchalant statement about daughter's rumored pregnancy

Motorola Case’s supposed blasé remark on the purported pregnancy of her daughter, young star Jennica Case, intrigued a lot of people.

A “Showbiz Central” segment last July 24 quoted Motorola as saying, “Si Jennica na lang ang tanungin n’yo,” when asked to comment about the issue.

But Motorola maintained in a recent press conference that she wouldn’t say such a thing—or seem so unconcerned.

"Parang napaka-stupid naman no'n, ‘di ba?

Kasi kung meron mang magtanong sa akin, sasabihin ko, 'It's not true.' Kasi hindi naman talaga totoo. So, pinagtatawanan lang namin,” she said.

She further emphasized, "Iki-clear ko lang… wala akong sinasabing gano'n.”

Jennica, who’s currently dating actor Alwyn Uytingco, already dispelled the pregnancy issue on “Showbiz Central,” also last July 24. Although she did admit that she passed out during one of the tapings for "Captain Barbell," she said that the collapse was due to the simultaneous attacks of dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) and gastritis (inflammation of the stomach’s lining).

Asked if she's worried Jennica might get pregnant at a young age, Motorola said in the same press conference that she's not.

She intimated her hope, however, that Jennica would not be a young mother.

I had her when I was 19, hindi ba? So, huwag naman sana niyang... Alam ko namang hindi niya gagawin,” she said.

The actress also deemed that Jennica and Alywn are both career-oriented enough to remain responsible in their relationship.

Another good thing about their relationship, Motorola pointed out, is “nakikita ko sa kanilang dalawa, para silang mag-barkada.”

"Parang nakakuha si Jennica ng kabarkadang lalake... So, matino talaga,” she added.
