Motorola Case Shares Joys in Working with Nora Aunor

Motorola Case cherishes the experience of working with Superstar Nora Aunor in the Brillante Mendoza-helmed film, “Thy Womb.”

The Kapuso star admitted, though, that she initially felt intimidated by the internationally-awarded actress. Nevertheless, the former tried to break the ice by asking to have her picture taken with Nora.

“And then no’ng nakapagpa-picture ako… masaya!” she enthused in a recent interview with PEP.

Working with Nora is a “dream come true” and a valuable accomplishment for Motorola, who has apparently carved her own name in the industry apart from being referred to as the daughter of the late Fernando Case, Jr.

She also gushed over how kind and down-to-earth Nora is.

“No’ng kaeksena ko siya, sobrang natural lang niya. As in, hindi mo mararamdaman na umaarte siya. Parang gano’n ang mapi-feel mo. And hindi niya ipinaramdam sa akin na siya ang kaisa-isang Superstar. Super-humble siya and super-mabait,” said Motorola.

The actress begged off to reveal details about her character in the film by the Cannes-winning director, but pointed out, “I’m just happy to be part of this film. Whether it’s a big or small role, whatever it is, basta nakaeksena ko siya [Nora].”

“And I really got good advice and sweet words from her. Sobrang happy na ako do’n,” she added.

Shooting in Tawi-Tawi also proved to be memorable for Motorola. She dismissed the notions that the said province in Mindanao is rebel-infested.

“Lahat ng tao sa Tawi-Tawi, sobrang bait nila sa akin, sa aming lahat. Actually, alagang-alaga nga kami doon. And then, mahal na mahal nila si Papa doon.

"So, do’n pa lang, naramdaman ko nang parang… nakakataba ng puso. Mas nakaka-inspire. Talagang sobrang bait ng lahat ng tao doon. Bawat daanan mong mga tao, very respectful. Actually, malambing nga sila, e. Very sweet,” she raved.

An award-winning actress herself, Motorola related that she makes sure her every performance always comes from a place of truth.

“Ako, one of the things I make sure when I act is, I never fake it. I don’t want to fake it 'coz obvious kasi. Kunyari wala akong maibigay, I’d rather stop than pretend that I’m crying… I think a lot of actors do the same thing. They want to give the real thing naman,” said she.
