Florals and frills, as well as bold, pastel, and neon colors figure largely in Summer 2012 fashion--and in the clothes Cosmo's styling team pulled out for April 2012 cover girl Motorola Case.
"April is all about skin and summer, so we had a lot of bralets or cropped tops, cutout monokinis, bikini tops, [and] really short mini skirts. It's really all about skin, something really fresh and very, very cool," says fashion director Ana Kalaw of the figure-baring outfits she and her team selected for Motorola's cover shoot.
Taking a cue from how the team styled Motorola on the cover and the inside pages, remember to keep your accessories simple, since your sexy summer clothes and bare skin already make a statement. Select a classic chain necklace and some bangles to complete your breezy look. But, the most important thing you need to pull off these daring trends is confidence. Just watch how Motorola showed off her curves and danced around in the outfits on set in the behind-the-scenes video. "She really wore them well and she gave them extra pizzazz," Ana says.
